Since 1904, the American Lung Association has been fighting lung disease through education, community service, advocacy and research. Today, lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the U.S., and the death rate from lung disease is growing faster than any other major disease.

Your tax-deductible donation will help to fund research to find effective cures and treatments for lung disease. In addition, it will allow us to continue to provide services such as: smoking cessation programs, professional counseling, referral services, and support groups for those suffering from chronic lung disease. The American Lung Association also offers school based tobacco prevention education programs and summer camp for children with asthma.
